ClASS DOJO
In order to communicate with parents clearly and effectively and give parents greater insight into what happens in school, we have Class Dojo accounts for each teacher and child. Class Dojo is a free app that connects teachers with children and parents to build classroom communities. It can be accessed through a smartphone or tablet on the app, or through a desktop browser.
ClassDojo is how we store “dojo points” (merits for good behaviour and achievement). All parents/carers can access ClassDojo by following the instructions below.
- Parents can request a code from their teachers which will allow them to connect with their child.
- Next, click on your class teacher to connect with them. Enter your child’s name (first and last name). This will connect you to your child.
Along with seeing their child’s number of “dojo points”, parents/carers can get in touch with teachers by messaging teachers through ClassDojo.
At times photos might be posted on ClassDojo – it is important that photos on ClassDojo not be shared on other social media. Our school website is our site to share photos with the wider world. ClassDojo photos are only for the class concerned.

There is also a secure messaging system in place where parents can connect with teachers privately with school work related issues.
